It is said, "Real Chan cannot be expressed in words, and real art likewise cannot be expressed in words." A sudden burst of inspiration sometimes happens out of the blue, and the breathtaking thrill of it cannot be expressed in words. Chang Wen-hsuan started learning to paint at the age of fifty. Motivated by his love of painting and calligraphy, he painted and wrote every day. The elderly painter's intense artistic dedication has taken over his entire life, and helps him to get through the years. His achievements of today are the fruit of his fierce passion for painting and calligraphy.
