為了讓民眾能透過藝術家的眼睛，透視台灣風土色彩；進而認識台灣之美，本館於5月17日至6月12日，特別推出「台灣原色」主題展。本次作品是由台陽美術協會，推薦十幾位優秀的油畫家和膠彩畫家，一同展出台灣原住民與台灣風土相關的美術作品。
享譽國際的原住民歌舞，正是因那獨特美學，所產生純樸美觀的原民風色彩，讓世人驚豔！藉由本次展出，將台灣原住民純樸的風土色彩，與源至中原，生根台灣的本土風情色彩並列，其所呈現的台灣「原色」之美，必將精彩可期！
　
To invite audience to see Taiwan's native colours via other artists' eyes as well as know Taiwan's beauty, our Center specially exhibits Taiwan's Original Colours on May 15 to June 12. This time, all the exhibited paintings recommended by Tai-Yang Fine Arts Association are painted by over ten excellent oil painters and acrylic painters. These demonstrate art work related to Taiwan's customs and natural landscape and aboriginal culture.
Internationally well-known aboriginals' singing and dancing impress the world simply because of their unique aesthetics resulted from simple and pretty aboriginal colours. In this exhibition, the three elements of colours – Taiwan's aboriginals, the Central Plains and Taiwan's local culture – are brought to form the beauty of Taiwan's "original colours." It will be a brilliant show!
