中華民國兒童美術教育學會與國立臺灣藝術教育館共同辦理之「中華民國第三十九屆世界兒童畫精選作品展」，即將於9月6日展開序幕。
本屆畫展有來自國內特優與優選作品300件、國外部分則有世界五大洲55個國家的金牌、銀牌、銅牌及優選作品300件的優秀作品展出。
來自全球各地的小朋友，以自我至真至誠的畫筆彩繪內心最美的世界，一幅幅的創作，無需語言，跨越種族、國際的藩籬，彼此找到了最直接溝通的管道，繪畫拉進了距離，建立互信、互愛的情誼，這也是世界兒童畫展愈來擁有愈多參與者的主因。
本屆欣見中國大陸有較多的作品參加，相信必可拉近兩岸和善的距離，從展覽現場兒童畫作，可洞悉每個國家、民族的生活習慣，文化教育，歷史傳統和美術水準各不相同，透過兒童的想像和創作表現無遺，看看他們彩筆下的神奇世界吧！

　
R.O.C. Association of Children Art Education and National Taiwan Arts Education Center co-organize the 39th Annual World School Children's Art Exhibition in R.O.C. whose opening takes place on 6th September.
This year's exhibition will display 300 pieces of selected excellent work from Taiwan and other 300 pieces of excellent work from abroad, made by winners of gold, silver and bronze medals of 55 countries.
Children from the world truly paint their most beautiful inner world with pens and brushes. All the works are made without limitation from language, ethnicity, and other obstacles. They discover the most direct communication channel. Paintings shorten distance, and help build up friendship with mutual trust and love. This is the main reason why more and more participants attend the world children's art exhibition.
It is delightful that this exhibition has many pieces of work coming from Mainland China. It is hoped that this will be able to shorten distance and improve friendliness between Taiwan and China. From all children's art, we can see living habit, culture, education, history, tradition and art standard in every country and ethnicity are different to one another. Let us come to see children's remarkable imagination and creation and colourful magic world!
