本劇係以高職以下學生演出為主，主題為詮釋傳統戲曲藝術之精華，透過戲曲新生代的演出，發揮京劇的「四功」與「五法」，內容包括：武戲《二將軍》《金山寺》《四洲城》《金翅大鵬》，文戲《賣水》《文昭關》《鍘美案》《武大郎遊街》等傳統劇目精華，為奠定劇藝的基石。希望藉著生動活潑的表演主題，提供觀眾欣賞精彩有趣且多元化的戲曲表演，帶動e世代年青人認識傳統藝術文化。
　
“In Pursuit for Excellence” is basically performed by students from senior vocational high school, and the theme is to interpret the essence of traditional operatic arts. It is through the performance of opera performance by new generation, showing what is specific in Peking opera as “four skills in performing” and “five acting rules. The repertoire includes “Two Generals”“Jin Shan Temple”“Four Continent City”“Golden-wing Grand Roc”“Selling Water”“Wun Zhao Guan”“Chopping Mei Case”and “Elder Brother Wu Wandering Street.”All of these shows are believed to be the essence of traditional operas that have founded the cornerstone of opera. It is hoped that we can provide the audience with the excellent and fun performance. Besides, we would also like to bring youngsters to appreciate the diversity of performing arts and stimulate them with the interest and knowledge regarding traditional arts and culture.
