《仲夏夜之夢》是莎翁筆下場面最豐富的劇本之一，全劇採歌舞劇呈現。以「夏‧夢」為主軸，呈現兩種截然不同的形式演出：一是南海劇場空間，另一則是在戶外藝文廣場演出。布景陳設將由參與學生共同擔任，以三年所學，為本劇帶來一個如夢似幻，可以迅速移動的舞臺，另透過身體的組合與創作，展現本齣戲劇不同的風情。
在演出的設計上，將結合舞蹈、雜耍、特技、火舞、溜冰等元素，輔以歌舞元素；在視覺上，則打破鏡框式舞臺框架，以消彌觀眾與演員之界線，引領觀眾深入其境，真正感受到「夏‧夢」風情。
　
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is one the plays by Shakespeare with the most rich and resourceful story. The entire play is staged in the form of musical with theme of“Summer and Dream.” In addition, the play will employ two completely different forms of performance: one is at the space of Nanhai Theater Stage, and the other is put on at Nanhai Open-Air Arts Square. Besides, the props will be entirely done by students as they will bring what they have learned in the past three years into “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with a hallucinatory yet fast movable stage. The play will be presented with same most unusual air and sentiments by the diverse combination and creation et bady.
In terms of design for performance, it should combine dance, acrobat, stunts, fire-dance, and skating, and other elements, assisted with factor of dancing as we do hope to break loose of the stereotype of stage and eliminate the barrier between actors and audience. In such a way, it can help to lead audience into the theatrical context, and really sense the atmosphere of “Summer and Dream.”
