大漢曲苑鼓書團創辦於民國73年，由一群愛好說唱曲藝者組成，共同參與研究與發揚，培育了許多各界說唱大鼓菁英。本演出廣用年輕人貫穿整個舞臺，除了要吸收年輕的一代的活力，老中青的傳承，更要讓觀眾感動大漢曲苑不同的魅力。
　
In two to three strokes of dinning sounds of strings, we can then come to find crisp and banging voice of drums. As hardwood clappers are hit upon, the performers begin to talk to from times before to what is now, and the singing can continue everlasting…… regarding thousands of years of history in joke and humor.
Da-Han-Qu-Yuan Drum-Telling Troupe was set up in 1984 by a group of lovers who fancy about singing and talking arts and have jointly worked for its research and promotion. They have helped to cultivate elites for drums-telling from all walks of life, with bunch of young people recruited to see through the entire performance of repertoire. Aside from taking in the vitality of young people as well as the passing-on from the middle- and senior-aged, the troupe would like to transmit the charm as how Da-Han-Qu-Yuan Drum-telling Troupe can have touched the audience.
