Imperfect-Face Xishi, Wennshin Performance Workshop Theatre’s the latest Taiwanese opera, is the first performance of this theatre’s creative libretto in 2009. It explores facial-deformity persons’ body and mind. With a unique plot, creative stage technique and rich and diverse musical elements, this opera will guide audience to reach realms beyond limit of time and space, subvert the concept of cause and effect and transmigration and search for long-lost love.
