「隆宛然掌中劇團」成立於2000年，由臺北市興隆國小學生及畢業團員組成，乃是傳承自布袋戲民族藝師—李天祿先生所創團的「亦宛然掌中劇團」，由第三代藝師傳藝，在傳統藝術形式的堅持下，以緊湊的鑼鼓、精湛的武打、細膩巧妙的動作、及俏皮搞笑的對白著稱。全場都是由小演師們現場演出，翻跟斗、跳窗戶、打老虎，絕無冷場，現場口白、鑼鼓、嗩吶配樂，不靠錄音對嘴。
Established in 2000, "Longwanran Hand-Puppet Theatre Group" is composed of Taipei Xinglong Elementary School students and members graduated from this school. This group is inherited from "Yiwanran Hand-Puppet Theatre Group" that the late folk art master of puppet theater, Mr. Tian-lu Lee founded. Now, the third-generation masters carry on handing down its tradition. Under the insistence of form of traditional art, this group is famous for its intensive playing of gongs and drums, brilliant battles involving with martial art, delicate and skillful actions, and humorous dialogue. The whole play is performed by young kids themselves who are experts at looping the loop, jumping from windows, and fighting tigers. There is certainly no lack of action. Being able to perform monologues, playing gongs and drums, and music of Chinese trumpet-like wind instrument at the scene, they don't need to rely on following recorded sound.
