長白靈山產人蔘，百年老蔘若能修練千年，便能登入仙籍，擺脫塵寰。李福父子上山掘蔘，李福善心放走蔘妹，李父年老病死；李福一人孤苦生活，蔘妹得道後回轉凡間報答恩情。
全劇共分4幕：<幕1-長白靈山><幕2-二戲李福><幕3-三放蔘仙><幕4-憨人有憨福>。
聚焦賞析：藉由故事傳達「傻人有傻福」，提醒現代人勿太計較得失利益，塞翁失馬，焉知非福？
　　
Changbai Holy Mountain produces a kind of ginseng. If the ginseng having grown for hundreds of years can be cultivated even ten times longer, one can transform himself into an immortal and have neither worries nor suffering if eaiting it. Li Fu and his father climb the mountain and hope to dig such a ginseng. Li Fu far from greediness releases a young girl holding the ginseng. When his father reaches his old age, he dies. Li Fu becomes very lonely. The girl holding the ginseng who has attained the way comes back to the world of mortals and want to repay Li Fu’s benevolence. The entire play has four acts: Act 1 is “Changbai Holy Mountain”; Act 2 is “Tease Li Fu ”; Act 3 is “Releasing of the Ginseng Fairy”; and Act 4 is “The Fool Has His Own Luck”.
Focus：The play is sending a message, that is “the fool has his own luck”. It reminds modern people of not fussing about only success and profit at present. It just like what the common proverb says – “A blessing in disguise.”
