看劇中女主角多麗如何從別人的媒人變成自己的媒人，男主角范基德如何受愛情滋潤，從老頑固變成百依百順的好情人。偷跑到紐約想要邂逅中意的女子卻對老闆將要娶進門的未婚妻一見鍾情，小伙計頭如何擄獲佳人芳心呢？一連串的相遇交錯，造成的誤會插曲，巧妙的安排造成有趣的情節，輕鬆古典喜劇注入年輕活力與新元素，交織成一齣好戲，期待您的支持與鼓勵。
<>. revised from Thornton Wilder's classic comedy, and jointly planned by the two teachers, Huang Wei-Xin and Wang Meng-Chao plus the students of this Department, shows its splendid love comedy by changing times background into 1960's A-Go-Go Tide. It is also a kind of fruitful result made by the Taiwanese drama education circle.
In the play, you can see how the heroine, Dorothy, makes other's matchmaker become her owns and how the hero, Fungid, becomes a docile and good lover from a stubbom man. The shop assistant, escaping to New York and wishing to encounter a desirable girl, falls in love at first sight with the boss' fiancée and you will see how he steals the pretty girl's heart? A series of interlocked encounters create misunderstanding episodes, skilful arrangements produce amusing plots, and youthful vitality and new elements add to the relaxed classic comedy which interweaves a wonderful play for which your supports and encouragements are expected.
