A poor Italian young man goes to America alone and falls in love with a rich girl. However, his expectant girlfriend with the help of the young man’s best friend comes to America to look for him but their search for him is in vain. Just before the young man’s wedding, his best friend finally finds him. The truth is his best friend has had a crush on the girlfriend for a long time. Struggling among friendship, love and morals, he is caught up in a dilemma: whether or not to tell his friend the truth.
