台灣心故鄉情音樂會有鮮明的主題和精彩的內容：包括台灣舊時的童謠、唸詞、戲曲、歌舞小戲、流行老歌等，由一群教育工作者演唱，並由謝朝鐘博士改編成絃樂伴奏。音樂會中並由活潑的男女主持人從音樂的各種層面，介紹舊時音樂在文化中的地位與傳承。多媒體圖片及影片的投影，配合音樂的演出，希望藉此喚起社會的文化意識與藝術參與。
音樂會中每一首老歌都有它的意義和故事背景介紹。這個音樂會，要回顧以上這些您或許已經忘記的台灣固有音樂資產，來與大眾免費共享，並提出維繫與發揚的願景。There are vivid themes and splendid contents in the Concert With Taiwan Mood & Homeland Love: including Taiwanese old children's ballads, words chanting, dramas and old pops which are sung by the people working for education, and accompanied with string music which is revised by Dr. Xie Chao-Zhong. In the Concert, the two male and female hosts will introduce old music's place and continuance in the culture from various levels of music, combining with the projection of multimedia pictures and films and musical performances in order to arouse the cultural consciousness of the society and participation for arts.
In the Concert, every old song has the introduction of its own meaning and story background. This Concert is aim to look back to Taiwanese inherent musical assets, share with the public freely and provide the sustainable and promotional vision.
