Taipei Kunju Opera Troupe will hold "Feather Fan and Black Silk Ribbon－Public Performance of Kun-opera Selections" to perform four Selected plays in Taipei on December 6, 2006. "Pipa Story—Nanpu" refers that Tsao, Po-Chieh was ordered by his father to Beijing for an examination, and requested his wife Chao Wu-Niang to look after his parents; two persons say good-bye in Long Pavilion; "Peony Pavilion—Visiting a Garden" and "Peony Pavilion—Startling Dream" is one of the most famous four dreams written by Tang, Hsien-Tsu, a playwright of Dynasty Ming. Its festive singing and dancing in performance is one of the classical works of Kun Drama; "The Fisherman's Pleasure—A Hidden Boat" refers to a misfortune love between Wu, Fei-Hsia, a fisherman's daughter, and Liu Suan, a crown prince. These four Zhezi plays show different young male and female characters, for instance, various requirements and characteristics in performance for Jinsheng, Xiaoguansheng, (male roles) Guimendan, Zhengdan and Huadan (female roles). In the meantime, it stresses on the symmetry and balance of stagecraft that is worthy of viewer's careful appreciation. The performers include Sun, Li-Hung, Lee, Kuang-Yu, Chen, Li-Ju and Ying, Ping-Shu that are all top artists.
