國立臺北大學國樂團為一群喜愛國樂的青年學生所組成，前身為國立中興大學法商學院國樂團。國立臺北商業技術學院國樂社乃集合對中國傳統民族音樂有興趣之同學而成立，前身為臺北市立臺北商業專科學校國樂社。
為促進臺北大學、北商與愛好國樂同學之間的交流，希望藉由此次音樂會使更多民眾及愛好國樂的同學能一起體會國樂之美。校內與校外的觀眾都能夠一起共襄盛舉，享受國樂的韻味。此次聯合音樂會，北大、北商國樂全體團員上下，均希望將全年所學作出完美的表現，除了豐富演出經驗外，更希望此次音樂會為這個學期畫下個完美的句點。
The Chinese Orchestra of National Taipei University is organized by a group of young students who loves Chinese classic music and was previously the Chinese Orchestra of the College of Law & Business, National Chung Hsing University. The Chinese Orchestra of National Taipei College of Business was founded by a group of students interested in Chinese traditional folk music and was previously the Chinese Orchestra of the National Taipei Junior College of Business.
In order to intensify the communication between the students of Taipei University, Taipei College of Business and who love Chinese classic music, and with an expectation that more public and students who love Chinese classic music could gather together to experience the beauty of Chinese classic music, by way of this concert, the audience from the schools and outside of schools are able to cooperate with each other to enjoy the lasting charm of Chinese classic music. For this united concert, the whole members of the Chinese orchestra of Taipei University and Taipei College of Business Chinese all are looking forward to an excellent performance standing for what they learned during the whole year. In addition to widen performance experience, they all expect this concert to be a perfect period for this semester.
