奇花異草樂集是由陳孟亨老師所創，團員包括各級學校木笛團的指導老師，音樂系木笛主修的學生，均為國內各種音樂比賽中之常勝軍，為國內木笛樂界的佼佼者。奇花異草樂團以技巧高深，和聲純淨優美著稱，雅緻而富有精神的和弦，透過精鍊的技巧、獨到的詮釋手法，展現出最燦爛耀眼的樂曲。
Rare Flowers & Grasses Musical Group was established by teacher Cheng Meng-Heng, and the member of which include the instructors of recorder club of schools at all levels, the students of Dept. of Music major in recorder who are always the winners of various music contests and the aces of recorder circles in Taiwan. Being famous for profound skill, beautiful and pure harmony, and graceful and vivid chord, Rare Flowers & Grasses Musical Group displays the most splendid music by means of purified skill and unique technique.
