重陽節宏揚傳統之敬老尊長的美德，發揚孝道和報本思源的精神，舉辦傳統歌仔戲公演的民間活動來敬老尊長，展現草根性親和力，以最「尊親」的方式感恩，讓這個節目富有人情味。現在五、六十歲的人，有許多是看歌仔戲長大，歌仔戲發揚忠孝節義、知恩圖報，亦可借古諷今對人生有許多啟發，也是那一年代知識來源。本會結合各相關婦女團體公演，演出戲碼為『天子告狀』為民而告，為情理正義而告，為打破官官相護而告。
Chinese Double Ninth Festival is set to observe the traditional merit in reverence to the elders, to promote the spirit of filiations and gratitude; Performance of traditional Taiwanese opera is given during the festival in honor of the elders to show profound appreciation in a amiable blue-grass fashion. Majority of people now in their 50 to 60 grew up watching Taiwanese opera. Typical opera stories promote royalty, filiations, integrity, justice, gratitude, and so on. By using the story of olden days in contrast to the contemporary life, it served as sources of inspiration and command knowledge during that era. The title of this performance is "The Emperor Has a Case"; he presses charge against bureaucracy for his people, for reason and justice. This performance is sponsored by various women's group and association.
