大溪地樂舞的背景是講述大自然與人的關係。大溪地人的祖先創作樂舞源於對天對地的感謝表達敬意與感謝。此次邀請Te Natira’a師資們共同編製舞曲，也特地赴大溪地向專業舞團 Tamariki Poerani學習洪水傳說相關舞曲。藉由樂舞展現大溪地的人文風情跟地理面貌。
The background of Tahitian music and dance tells the tale of the relationship between nature and humans. Tahitian ancestors created music and dance to express their gratitude and respect to the sky and the earth. This time, instructors from Te Natira'a are invited to choreograph the dance and music together. They particularly traveled to Tahiti to learn the dance music related to the flood myth with the professional dance troupe, Tamariki Poerani. The humanities, culture, and geography of Tahiti are expressed through music and dance.
