" Die Entführung aus dem Serail " is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's first German-language opera, set against the backdrop of the "Turkish craze" of the time. It is a brilliant classic that combines the characteristics of Italian opera and French opéra comique. Under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Qiu Junqiang, together with director Chen Chang-hsu and the Taipei Philharmonic Opera Group singers, this vibrant masterpiece is brought back to life.
