Prof. Ting Cheng-Yun’s reproduction of ancient “Se”, and findings of its way of playing, plus Mrs. Ting’s exquisite playing of the ancient “Se” to make the harmonious Qin and Se possible.
Another form for Concert “Harmonious Qin and Se” is Xuan Ge. The origin of the form “Xuan Ge” is ages ago and just played by the musical instrument of Qin and Se; however, “Xuan Ge” has failed to be handed down from past generations following the declination of Se. “Xuan Ge” presented in this concert could allow audience to listen to the remained rhyme of ancient Xuan Ge.
