該劇團向來以本土創作堅持在國內劇場走新路，劇本編寫或集體即興都是演出創作的來源。本劇以日本原著小說《冰點》為藍圖，導演董維琇以集體即興的方式，帶領演員共同創作這齣人性中無法抗拒的考驗與誘惑、矛盾與掙扎的精采好戲。本劇是以報復行動展開的故事，讓故事在片段的呈現中，逐漸建構出事件的真相，但是真相並未帶來和解，而是造成角色之間更深的裂痕，婚姻和家庭的價值也在外遇發生後，重新被思考與定位。
This drama is based on the Japanese novel "Freezing Point." Director Tung Wei-hsiu uses a collective extemporaneous approach to lead the actors as they jointly create this superb story of irresistible testing and temptation, contradiction, and struggle. The play starts with an act of revenge, and the fragmented pieces of the story gradually coalesce and build a true picture of the central incident. Learning the true picture does not bring reconciliation, however, and it causes deeper rifts to form between the characters. The value of marriage and the family must be rethought and redefined after the adultery occurs.
