Pure love, underworld grudges, and the vicissitudes of life are all here in a vigorous opera full of song, dance, and humor. The two main characters consist of the drifter Tienlai and the cute and innocent young girl Yumei. When Tienlai meets Yumei, these two appealing figures fall into the river of love.
