「唸歌」是台灣土生土長的一種說唱藝術，特色是一句七字，即以一長串的四句聯仔組成，內容大多以民間故事、勸世歌、男女褒歌、時事新聞為主，由一人自彈自唱到兩人對唱，所用樂器以月琴、大廣弦為主，亦有加入吉他、殼仔弦、三弦、鑼鼓等樂器，極適合大眾聆賞及參與學習。
Songs-reading is a kind of singing-spoken art native-born in Taiwan. The unique feature is each sentence with seven Chinese characters included, and four sentences organize a whole paragraph. The meaning of each paragraph is likely to say a folk story, such as "To give people a sermon", "To praise a man or a woman", "Events and News". The musical instruments are a four-stringed and the broad-string.
