本皮影戲為配合教育文案內容，闡釋大眾所熟悉的台灣民俗傳說，讓觀眾更能了解其精髓，藉由「真武收妖」故事之精湛演出，並透過解說人員的導賞。戲中穿插虎、龜、蛇、蜈蚣、食蛇鼠、貓、鷹、鶴等有趣的動物演出，期將日漸式微之「皮影戲」（台灣三大偶戲之一）再度蓬勃發展，是一場適合全家大小共同欣賞之好戲。
This leather-silhouette coordinating with the contents of teaching plan to expound Taiwan’s folkways and legends which are known by the public and allow viewers to more understand the its essence. This show expresses the style of Taiwan’s treasured art by the excellent performance of the story “Chen Wu Subdues Monster” and viewers may appreciate via narrator’s guide. Furthermore, shape of such interesting animals as tiger, turtle, snake, centipede, snake-eating mouse, cat, and crane are also included in the show. It’s expected to recover the prosperity of “leather-silhouette show” (one of three Taiwan puppet shows), which is decadent gradually, meanwhile, it is a good show suitable for whole family’s appreciation.
