「台北‧西城故事」（West Side Story in Taipei）以歌舞音樂劇的方式，將這齣六零年代改編自莎士比亞「羅密歐與茱麗葉」電影「西城故事」重新詮釋。西城故事主要是描述五零年代紐約兩派不同族裔黑幫，以及年輕男女淒美卻不容於世的愛情故事。相較於原劇，我們將此齣戲的時空背景轉換至現代台北西區，且不再單只著墨於男女情愛上，更針對現今青少年問題作一省思與檢討。
The "West Side Story" is saying about the competition between two different groups of gangs and the touching love story of young men and women in New York in fifties.
Compared to the original drama, we transfer its time and space and background to Taipei West Section. In addition to the original story plot, we aim at nowadays teenagers' problems to consider deeply and self-criticize.
