"Wu Rong", the name of the ancestral shrine of SU, FENG-NAN, who is an honorary professor at National Taiwan University of Arts, is adopted by his followers as the name of the painting association. Professor Su focuses on traditional brushwork and ink in his teaching, learning from nature, blending in with regional characteristics to integrate them into his basis of thinking. The members learn from each other and try to improve themselves. Although they learn from the same master, they each have their own way to select material and create the aesthetic atmosphere, keeping up with the path of the time between tradition and innovation, alteration and invariance.
