The Pastel Art Promotion Association of Taiwan (PAPAT) organizes the Cross-Strait Exhibition annually, inviting renowned artists and outstanding works from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The exhibition not only provides enthusiasts of pastel art with additional opportunities for appreciation, but also creates a platform for artistic exchange between artists across the Strait. Through this initiative, it seeks to elevate the standard of pastel works, encourage artists to engage in pastel practice, and enhance broader public recognition of pastel art.
