This exhibition presents works of European embroidery, traditional Taiwanese embroidery, and Japanese embroidery, showcasing the distinctive techniques and cultural aesthetics of each tradition, as well as the diverse stylistic expressions and craftsmanship shaped by different cultural contexts. A dedicated section on textile conservation further highlights the preservation and restoration of embroidered works. Through the presentation of conservation outcomes, visitors are guided to a deeper understanding of embroidery conservation, underscoring the transmission of craft traditions and the cultural values embodied in these works.
