Children are able to express themselves directly through painting. The theme of our painting activity this time is “Traditional Festivals Held by Our Aboriginal Villagers.” One can think of “Harvest Festival” by Amis, “Ear-shooting Festival” by Bunun, “Warriors’ Festival” by Tsou, and so forth. These occasions give us the opportunity to present Taiwan aboriginal villagers’ traditional festivals and their cultural events. Through this painting exhibition, we can learn to appreciate aboriginal kids’ feelings for their homeland.
