In order to enhance student’s arts creation capacity, to cultivate citizen’s ability of appreciation and to put the school arts education into effect, the Ministry of Education thus organized the National Student Art Competition. It is divided into seven categories: elementary school section - painting, calligraphy, graphic design, comics, ink painting and prints; junior and senior high school (including vocation school) plus college section- western style painting, calligraphy, graphic design, comics, ink painting and prints. From elementary school to college, there are up to a total of 55 groups.
Focus：The prized works of 101 academic year will be labelled premium, excellent and first prize along with other prizes, about 355 works in total. The awarding ceremony will be held at Student Activity Centre of Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School at 02:00pm on Saturday, December 29th, 2012.
