In the colour palette of the four seasons, summer is fierce with heat and explosive like thunderstorms. When children think of summer, they imagine drinking ice-cold soda and jumping into the refreshing pool without hesitation. This exhibition showcases colourful paintings of their best summer memories. The paintings act as a wordless diary through which we get to experience a scorching summer. This year’s Tongde Art Exhibition is themed “Colourful Summer” as we invited children to capture the precious remnants of summer through painting a diary that recounts the colour of their childhood summers.
