Lee Liang was born in Luoyang, China, and is an emerging artist currently residing in Beijing. He was accepted into the foundation program of the School of Fine Art at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2003, and accepted to its Department of Oil Painting in 2004. His painting, “Still life,” was selected as “Top Work of the Year” by the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2005.
