In the preceding period of Political Staff School, the Department established three divisions of drama, music, and fine art, and cultivated military cadres who promoted culture and arts both in military and in the society. After tasks of military shifted, military arts education was adjusted and converted to Department of Applied Arts in 2006, aiming at nurturing cadres in art, music, and drama in a new era. Military applied arts performances will display extraordinary performance.
