The Opera Company has inherited the skills of master Chi-Hsia Tai since 1950 and has been devoted to the passing on of localized Peking opera for the past few decades. "Xi Shi", "Sitting in the Palace", and "The Orphan of Zhao" that focuses on singing and reciting, and the "Dream in the Spring Boudoir" that focuses on the acting and dances, are specially arranged. Upon
entry to the Nanhai Theater, audiences are brought back to the nostalgic memory of the Nanhai Theater in the 1960s. It is our hope that the public will pay more attention to the art and culture of the local Peking Opera in Taiwan.
