Events for Visual Art

What are the addresses of your exhibition locations, and what are their respective opening hours?

(1) Addresses: Exhibition Rooms I, II, and III are located at No.43, Nanhai Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City. Nanhai Outdoor Gallery is located at No.47, Nanhai Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City.
      (2) Opening hours:
      1. Exhibition Rooms I, II, and III: Open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily except closed for preparation on Mondays (closures for special occasion will be further announced).
      2. Nanhai Outdoor Gallery: Open 24 hours.

How do I apply for venue rental?

For the exhibition rooms, rental applications for next year’s schedule open June 1st – August 31st, and applicants will receive the reviewing results by October 31st. If you miss the application deadline, you may still apply if there are still available slots. Please call us or visit our website for relevant info.

Are the items on display at your Center available for purchase?

Our Center is a non-profit seeking organization; the purpose of our exhibitions and events is to promote art education and the artists are not allowed to engage in any trade of their artworks on display.

How do I borrow your Center’s collection for exhibitions?

Our Center’s collections can be borrowed only by government agencies, schools and registered cultural institutes for non-profit seeking exhibitions only. To borrow our Center’s collections, an applicant must issue an official letter one month in advance. Our collections will be released on loan only if our Center has agreed to the loan and insurance policy that has been acquired for the said collections. However, collections in poor condition or fragile are not for loan.
